Receivables Administrator - 6 Month Contract

The Receivables Administrator places a focus on the receivables of all current accounts for Broadstreet Properties rental units throughout the portfolio.  The role will work within Yardi Voyager to ensure the balance of cash flow and solve any discrepancies from current tenant payments and rents.  The position focuses on the Move out portion of the tenant lifecycle processing all move outs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for sending and processing accurate monthly rents for all Broadstreet properties
  • Process regular rental increases including all corresponding paperwork
  • Process move out packages including sending refunds
  • Ensure all move out packages with balances are sent to Collections Coordinators
  • Review and audit all customer receivables to tenant registers and resolve any issues
  • Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjust and/or correct if necessary
  • Process and audit all banking scans from sites
  • Investigate and resolve any open amounts or misapplied transactions on tenant registers
  • Process all NSF’s
  • Audit move out documents including documents, charges, and waived fees
  • Ensure the strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records
  • Daily audit of approved applications for site activity comments or Security Deposit banking paid but not received.
  • Process all credit card payments
  • Prepare all required documents to process monthly tenant move-outs
  • Prepare month-end rent summary and analyze for errors and omissions
  • Collaborate with Collections Coordinators to maintain collection goals and general A/R performance

REQUIREMENTS

  • Two years’ experience in an accounts receivable role
  • Possess basic knowledge of accounting systems and computerized applications
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
