Application Support Specialist

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, solution-oriented Application Support Specialist to provide exception support across our core business applications. We primarily provide for our Property Management ERP, Yardi, and Construction ERP, Viewpoint Vista.
In this role, you’ll support users both in person and online, ensuring they can work efficiently and confidently with our systems. This isn’t just a support role, you’ll proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, anticipate issues and drive meaningful improvements.

This position will be located in Campbell River - British Columbia.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Provide prompt, professional support to users across the organization for core applications like Yardi and Viewpoint Vista.
- Troubleshoot software issues and guide users toward solutions, leveraging both technical skills and business understanding.
- Stay current on application updates, new features, and best practices to maximize business value.
- Support multiple ERP systems and their various modules, ensuring consistency and alignment across departments.
- Act as a liaison with vendors to escalate and resolve issues effectively.
- Collaborate with external development and product teams to report bugs, suggest improvements, and relay user feedback.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand requirements, gather feedback, and propose solutions.
- Assist in the implementation, upgrade, migration, and configuration of ERP systems and other business tools.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams, business users, and leadership.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system usage, and internal controls.
- Maintain documentation related to configurations, processes, and issue resolution
What you need to be successful:
- 2+ years in a technical support, application support or similar IT role.
- Hands on experience supporting or implementing ERP systems (Yardi, Viewpoint Vista, etc) is a strong asset.
- Proven ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience with system configuration, data workflows, or databases is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative in fast paced environments.
- Skilled in problem-solving, troubleshooting, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiar with financial or operation workflows, especially in property management or construction is an asset.
