We are seeking a dynamic well rounded Project Coordinator to join our Change Management Office. 
The Project Coordinator is responsible for initiating, planning, and executing project activities on time and in accordance with specifications. Under the direction of the Manager, Change Management the Project Coordinator will carry out tasks to coordinate efforts between teams to fulfill project goals. Efficient delivery of project deliverables, effective quality control, clear communication of expectations to stakeholders, and upward reporting to senior management are critical tasks that must be performed throughout each project lifecycle.

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to closeout. Follow project management guidelines throughout lifecycle of project: document the project goals/objectives, stakeholder management, communications, risk management, assumptions, roles and responsibilities, schedules, implementation management, and associated deliverables.
  • Coordinate project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, communication, and other factors necessary for success.
  • Work closely with Business Analysts in change management to track and document project activities.
  • Provide support to stakeholders and other business entities as needed. 
  • Execute coordination of project timelines, milestones, deliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or methods.
  • Organize project teams into suitable workgroups and guide the teams throughout their efforts to produce deliverables to achieve the project goal. 
  • Follow established mechanisms for tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders via a formal communications plan.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings and forums to solicit feedback, input, and expectations; will incorporate these into project plans.
  • Reallocate resources across multiple projects where necessary; identify and resolve any resource allocation discrepancies.
  • Adhere to established methodologies for project management.
  • Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas for improvement; make recommendations based on findings.

What you need to be successful:

  • Post secondary education in business, project management, related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two plus years experience in a role related to project management or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
  • Experience working within a complex organizational structure with the ability to manage cross-departmental and cross-disciplinary resource allocation.
  • PMP/CAPM certification preferred.
  • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills.
  • Superb creation and facilitation of meetings, feedback sessions, and briefings in order to create consensus among stakeholders.
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, upper management and executive level.
  • Strong knowledge of technology management, and internal controls.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
  • Ability to create and edit project documents, materials, and presentations.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills.
