Leasing and Sales Specialist
The Tenant Acquisition Specialist serves as the sales engine of the leasing process by managing the prospect pipeline from initial inquiry through to scheduled viewing. Working across multiple residential communities, the specialist engages prospective residents through phone, email, text, chat, and CRM platforms to build relationships, identify housing needs, and create urgency around available rental opportunities.
The successful candidate is a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a target-driven environment and excels at building rapport and influencing decisions over the phone.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Respond quickly and professionally to all inbound leasing inquiries.
- Conduct outbound follow-up calls to new, existing, and dormant leads.
- Perform needs assessments and qualify prospects.
- Present community features, amenities, promotions, and suite options persuasively.
- Overcome objections and guide prospects toward booking a viewing.
- Schedule and confirm property tours with on-site leasing teams.
- Re-engage cancelled, missed, or inactive prospects.
- Manage portfolio-wide pipelines to ensure no lead is left unattended.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and activity tracking.
- Support occupancy, revenue, and leasing targets through disciplined sales activity.
What you need to be successful:
- Experience in sales, leasing, customer service, contact centre, hospitality, property management, or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
- Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment and convert leads through phone and digital channels.
- Strong communication, rapport-building, objection-handling, and follow-up skills.
- Organized, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple prospects, communities, and priorities.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, call tools, email, chat/text platforms, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to maintain accurate lead, pipeline, activity, and reporting records.
- Knowledge of residential leasing processes, applications, promotions, and suite availability is an asset.
